We rented chairs for our wedding from here as we weren’t totally in love with the ones our venue had. We had several vendors in mind but contacted Alpine Events and they gave us the best price per chair in the area. We worked with Eryn mostly and she was friendly and accommodating when we wanted to change the color and quantity of our chairs. My only issue with this vendor is the lack of pricing transparency. When we initially reached out for a quote for 205 chairs we received a price that was different than when we changed our quantity a few weeks before our wedding. They also wanted to charge us initially over 1200$ for delivery and pickup of the chairs so we didn’t want this service as it was too expensive. When I inquired again about delivery and pickup a few weeks before our wedding, the price magically changed to 159$… Really loved this vendor and was happy with the service, but I would be mindful working with them if their prices don’t get more transparent.

Alpine Events was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding in Charlevoix, MI! They are everything you want in a wedding vendor with their supreme customer service and excellent responsiveness. I worked directly with Amanda from the Grand Rapids office (I believe) and she was fantastic to work with. Every time we needed to make an adjustment or update our invoice, she was extremely quick to confirm my details and send along an updated form. Paying was also super simple as well with their online payment portal. Not only did they provide an amazing tent, their glassware for our cocktail hour was perfect! I have zero complaints and would highly highly recommend Alpine Events to any couple looking for a supply (they do everything) wedding vendor.

We recently rented dinnerware and a bar from Alpine Events for our daughter's wedding. We gave them relatively short notice for a busy weekend so they weren't able to deliver or pick up but Alyson was a dream to work with and we were able to transport everything ourselves. She was responsive, attentive and flexible. The folks in the warehouse were also helpful and friendly! Thank you! It was a pleasure doing business with you!

Ultimately Alpine did a really good job, but the lack of communication during the planning process made it a good bit more stressful than it needed to be. We had a backyard wedding spread across two properties in the same neighborhood (one for ceremony/cocktail hour, one for reception). Reggie and his team worked super hard for many hours on the delivery day to get everything in place, and everything ended up looking beautiful under the tent. The issue was that on the planning side, our event manager Alyson was often very difficult to get ahold of. It often took multiple emails/phone calls over a week or more to get a response from her, even when we were within weeks of the wedding day. We didn’t get an updated site diagram until 2 months after their site visit, which was just 3 weeks from the wedding. When we had a (more expensive) rental company out for a visit/quote, they provided a diagram to us that same afternoon. We just felt like we had to put in a lot more effort from our side to make things successful on the big day than we did with some of our other vendors. At the end of the day though, we were happy with the quality of the rental materials and the quality of the work.
